Mission and Philosophy
The Mission of the Brandywine Family is to work to promote and develop the total female athlete.   Brandywine will train and encourage players to achieve their optimum potential in lacrosse. Individual achievement and athletic excellence will be encouraged but an equally important objective will be the team concept.
The Major’s Philosophy is simple....with dedication and hard work, anything is possible.  We offer a challenging training program for the lacrosse player who desires to compete at the next level.  Coaches strive to instill an understanding and appreciation for such concepts as personal accountability, constructive self-motivation, goal setting and goal achievement as these ideas relate to the player’s success in training and competition. It is our belief that the process of achieving is as significant as the achievement itself.

The Brandywine Majors’ mission and philosophy supports the belief that our female athletes will become better equipped to cope with life’s challenges in a disciplined and constructive way - something that will prove to be valuable to them as they grow and face the challenges of life....this mission and philosophy is filtered throughout the Brandywine Majors Girls Lacrosse Club and is what makes The Majors Family a unique place to train!

Goals of The Majors Family
Brandywine Majors Girls Lacrosse Club seeks to achieve the following goals through its competitive program:
  • Provide a fair opportunity for female athletes in Southeastern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas to compete within a lacrosse organization that allows its players to continue to develop skills within a competitive atmosphere.
  • Create an atmosphere in which the desire for self improvement and goal achievement motivates the individual to develop her natural abilities and help others to do likewise.
  • Provide the opportunity to learn sportsmanship, responsibility, dedication, self-discipline and team participation while training with peers and competing at above average ability levels
  • Teach acceptance of success and failure while striving to be the best.
  • Expose players to the college recruiting system by competing in the top IWLCA Showcase Tournaments in the region.
